Beginning Fast Travel

Fast travel is not available at the beginning of the game in Conan Exiles. To teleport from A to B, you need the Cartographer skill. You can learn this skill from the Archivist in the Nameless City. The journey there is not easy.For one thing, you will be afflicted with corruption as soon as you enter the city. Secondly, you will be immediately pursued by a multitude of enemies. Just run past everything and head straight to the library, in the very north of the city. The location will be shown to you on the map.

Enter the library and find the archivist inside. You’ll find him deep inside the building in the form of a large ghostly figure floating behind a giant map. Talk to him to learn the Cartographer skill. You can now find the ability in your talents in the “Decoration” category. Once you’ve learned the Cartographer skill, you can return to your base to set up the map room you need for fast travel. However, the map room requires some work and resources:

• 25 x Iron Reinforcement
• 50x crystal
• 75 x Alchemical Base (1x Alchemical Base = 2 x Silver Dust, 1 x Gold Dust, and 2 x Wound Ichor)
• Corrupted Stones x200 (You need to combine a total of Stones x400, Ichor x200, and Demon Blood x200 in the Brazier)

In addition to the materials, you need to build the map room, you must also be at least level 60 to be able to use it at all.

Activate Obelisks For Fast Travel

As soon as you meet all the requirements, nothing stands in the way of fast travel. You can now activate the ten obelisks that are scattered across the map and then use the fast travel function to reach them. These obelisks are not easy to find, however, and also come with some dangers. 

If you happen to come across an obelisk before building the map room, you can still sync the obelisk to your snake bracelet and have it activated by the time the map room is completed. It is also important to know that you can only travel to the obelisks from your base. To travel back to your Base or to another obelisk, you need to walk or ride your mount.

To activate an obelisk, you need to have an attuned bracelet, which is a rare item that can be found in dungeons or crafted with rare materials. Once you have an attuned bracelet, you can approach an obelisk and interact with it to activate it. You will see a blue light and hear a sound when the activation is successful. Activating an obelisk will also mark it on your map, so you can easily find it again. Obelisks are useful for fast travel, but they also have some risks. Some obelisks are guarded by powerful enemies or traps, so you need to be careful when approaching them. Also, activating an obelisk will consume some of your bracelet's durability, which means you can only use it a limited number of times before it breaks. Therefore, you should use obelisks wisely and only when necessary.
